The first thing was to strip out all the interior which is easier said
than done. The sound proofing was
stuck on with the World's stongest
glue. The headlining was made out of
 an old 600x600 light fitting,
defuser and the World's most itchy
fiberglass but i persevered.

The wheels 15"x15" centerline  with hoosier drag slicks

tight fit  but I think its going to have the desired affect

I removed the rear irs and stipped it ready to make one good irs out of this and the narrowd one

To make way for the those wheels I had to tubb the back this ment ripping out the fuel tank, fuel pump, surge tank, fuel filler pipe, ecu, ecu loom, ecu vacume pipe, exhausts back to the middle boxs and then the floor was cut out from the back of the boot to the back of the rear seat

the rear chassis member (marked with arow) needs to be removed to allow clearance for the wheels this will be replaced with 4"x2" box section closer to the center of the car

not sure if my drawings are clear let me know if its not.

the red and blue lines are existing chassis members on the rear of the car the blue being the part that is to be cut out. The yellow lines are the new 4"x2" box section  and the black parts are the drive line and wheels

after this is what it will look like. If it was only that simple!
